Commercial Mail ReCeiving Agency
As a Commercial Mail Agency (CMRA), we’re able to provide a unique, USPS-verified business address for all of our Mail Scanning and Virtual Office clients. We explain what a CMRA does and the benefits of using a CMRA for your business mail.
Our Mail Scanning services start at $49/year.

What’s a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency?
A Commercial Mail Receiving Agency is a private business that provides mail forwarding services. All CMRAs need to register with the USPS. CMRA customers also need to submit PS Form 1583, authorizing the CMRA to accept their mail.
When you hire us for mail scanning or virtual office service, you’ll be able to complete Form 1583 directly in your client account. As your CMRA, we can have the form verified and submit it to the USPS on your behalf.
How does CMRA SERVICE work?
A CMRA gives you a real physical address (not a P.O. box) where you can receive your mail. To send you your mail, CMRAs can offer mail pick-up at their office, physical mail forwarding, or digital Open and Scan mail forwarding.
Our CMRA service specializes in Open and Scan digital mail forwarding. When your mail arrives at our office, one of our local employees sorts, scans, and uploads it to your online client account. All obvious junk mail is automatically shredded. You’ll receive an email notification when you have a new mail item to view.
If you need a piece of mail physically forwarded to you, you can request this with one click in your online account. Physical mail forwarding is $15 + postage.
Who Can Benefit from Using a CMRA in Colorado?
Anyone can use a CMRA to get a private, convenient mailing address. But CMRA services are especially useful for business owners, including:
1. Home-based businesses
Using your home address as your business address can make your business look amateurish. More importantly, it can put you at risk of being scammed, spammed, or harassed at your home. With a CMRA, you get a private business address that looks professional and doesn’t put your safety at risk.
2. Businesses without a fixed location
From food truck owners to touring musicians, there are plenty of business owners who don’t have a traditional storefront or office. But you still need to be able to receive mail! With a CMRA, you can view your mail digitally, wherever you are.
3. Businesses that want to establish themselves in Colorado
A CMRA can help you establish a physical business presence in Colorado, even if you’re running the business in a different state. A physical business presence is sometimes needed to open a bank account in Colorado, or just to improve your credibility with Colorado customers.
To help our clients establish a Colorado business presence, we include a real, non-binding office lease you can use to open a business bank account.
4. Business owners who are sick of losing important paperwork
As a business owner, you need to hold on to invoices, receipts, state documentation, and a million other documents. This is challenging when your important business mail is mixed in with personal mail and straight-up junk.
A CMRA allows you to get all your business mail delivered to one location. With our CMRA services, we upload your business mail to your secure online account, so you never lose anything important. We also automatically shred obvious junk mail.

Where will my business address be located?
When you order mail scanning or virtual office service, you get a business address with a unique suite number in our building. Our office building is prestigiously located in downtown Denver, catty-corner from the Colorado State Capitol building. When someone does an online search for your business address, this is the building they’ll see.
We own, rather than rent, this building, so we can provide a stable, long-term business address that you won’t need to update for many years.
